To the Patients of Drs. Brent and Susan Kinnie,

We are writing to provide an update regarding recent changes within our office, many of which you may have already noticed.

We are pleased to share that management of our medical practice has recently transitioned to Dr. Leonard Onwumelu. Dr. Onwumelu is a former partner who practiced in our office from 2017 to 2022. Since that time, he has built an outstanding team of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and support staff. He brings extensive clinical experience along with a strong, team-based approach to patient care.

At this time, Drs. Brent and Susan Kinnie have not yet established formal retirement plans; however, we will begin gradually reducing our clinical hours. As part of this transition, we would like to introduce Dr. Prisca Wosu and Dr. Opeyemi Familusi. Both are highly qualified physicians who are joining our care team and will be available to see patients at Deer Valley Family Medicine Clinic alongside us.

To help maintain timely access to care, we strongly encourage patients to consider taking appointments with these physicians when offered by our front office staff. Doing so will help reduce overall wait times and ensure continuity of care. We are confident that you will be very pleased with your experience, and we will continue working closely with them as a collaborative care team in the months ahead.
